Upah Kerja di Hotel

Paket Outbund di Garut, Setiap saat saya buka account google analytic untuk mencari tahu kata kunci (keyword) apa yang paling banyak berkunjung ke situs (blog) saya, rata-rata sesungguhnya mau tahu seperti apa kerja di hotel, enak serta tak nikmatnya, dan berapakah upahnya.

Ngomongin upah? Mengapa tak?
Bila anda yaitu seorang yang baru mulai memikirkan untuk masuk ke dunia hotel, sebaiknya lebih dahulu tahu berapakah sih yang kurang lebih bakal anda hasilkan bila anda bekerja di hotel (yang saya maksud ini pegawai regular serta bukanlah daily worker. Hotel di Garut, Pada intinya, seperti yang telah pernah saya singgung di artikel enak serta tidak nikmatnya kerja di hotel, upah orang hotel terbagi dalam tiga sumber paling utama, yakni upah pokok, service charge, serta panduan. Mari kupas satu persatu.
1. Upah pokok
Untuk upah pokok besarannya beragam, sangatlah bergantung dengan posisi, sisi, serta kebijakan manajemen. Upah pokok terbesar setahu saya dibagian kitchen section, seperti cook serta antek-anteknya. Di bawahnya umumnya kelompok Sales, lantas Finance serta front office, lalu disusul Food and beverage service, Engineering, serta housekeeping. Besarannya? Bergantung kebijakan management. Ada yang mengambil keputusan sesuai sama standar UMK (gaji minimal kabupaten), tetapi ada juga yang semakin besar dari UMK. Ada hotel yang memberlakukan upah pokok sama untuk tiap-tiap level karyawannya, ada juga yang dapat nego, staff yang memiliki pengalaman memperoleh upah pokok tambah baik dari pada yang belum memiliki pengalaman, walau dengan level yang sama. Terkecuali upah pokok, tunjangan seperti transport serta tunjangan pension berniat saya tak masukkan ke sini lantaran besarannya terus serta bergantung dari kebijakan management Outbound di Garut.

2. Service charge
Pembagian service charge beragam di tiap-tiap hotel, bergantung dari kebijakan management. Ada yang berpedoman sistem segitiga sama kaki, yakni staff level paling rendah memperoleh prosentase service charge paling banyak, makin naik levelnya prosentase makin kecil, lantaran hitungannya makin naik levelnya makin besar juga upah pokok serta tunjangan yang diperoleh. Ada juga yang berpedoman sistem segitiga terbalik, kebalikan dari sistem segitiga sama kaki. Tetapi hingga sekarang ini, saya sih belum ketemu hotel yang memberlakukan sistem ini. Ya ogah, lah! telah level terndah pasti upahnya paling kecil, masih tetap juga memperoleh prosentase service charge yang kecil!

System ketiga yaitu pembagian service charge pro rata, yakni besaran service charge yang dibagi sama rata. System inilah yang paling adil serta paling banyak digunakan di hotel-hotel di kota besar sejenis Surabaya serta Jakarta. Sayangnya, di Bali terdapat banyak hotel yang memberlakukan service pro rata tetapi untuk yang berstatus karyawan kontrak cuma memperoleh service charge setengahnya. Ada lagi ketetapan untuk karyawan baru yang masih tetap berstatus probation (karyawan percobaan) cuma memperoleh upah pokok serta tak memperoleh service charge sekalipun hingga saat probationnya usai.

Untuk dapat memperoleh service charge yang kelihatannya berkasta ini memanglah perlu perjuangan yg tidak gampang. Tetapi service charge ini memanglah layak diperjuangkan, lantaran besarannya yang dapat berulang-kali semakin besar dari upah pokok. Juga sebagai acuan, rata-rata usaha hotel terkenal di Surabaya th. 2012 lantas rata-rata membuahkan 2, 5juta – 3 juta per bln., sedang resort di Bali sekelas Four Seasons (info dari salah seseorang rekan yang bekerja disana), rata-rata memperoleh 8jutaan per bln.. Silakan memikirkan sendiri berapakah service charge yang didapat pegawai St. Regis, Mulia, serta Bvlgari, 3 resort termahal di Bali di th. ini. Glek!

3. Tip
Panduan pasti sangatlah bergantung “bejo” atau keberuntungan seorang. Umumnya staff yang memperoleh panduan ini yaitu bellman, porter atau juru angkut barang, nama ledekan yang didapatkan oleh salah satu rekan saya. Walau sekian, bukanlah bermakna staff dibagian lain tak ‘kecipratan’ rejeki. Terkecuali porter, F & B department juga kerap bisa panduan. Housekeepingpun kerap bisa panduan bila cocok make-up kamar. Receptionist seperti saya? Panduan sih tidak sering, terkecuali ada tamu yang betul-betul senang dengan service saya atau terkadang nyogok, minta kamar nomer khusus lantaran mengincar view serta luasnya. Tetapi, duit panduan yang saya peroleh juga datang dari kembalian tamu yang tidak ingin terima duit kembalian. Sedikit sih, palingan sekitaran beberapa puluh ribu saja. Namun bila hotel tengah ramai, serta banyak yang check out serta settle bill gunakan duit kontan serta tidak ingin kembalian? Jadi lumayan juga jumlahnya.

Terkecuali tiga sumber diatas, saya terkadang dapat juga komisi, lantaran mereferensikan spa atau tur spesifik. Di Bali, banyak spa serta tur menjamur di mana-mana serta berkompetisi dengan ketatnya untuk memperoleh customer. Salah satu langkahnya ya, mendekati staff hotel serta memberi iming-iming komisi. Hotel sendiri sesungguhnya ada spa serta ada hubungan kerja dengan tur yang telah terikat kontrak, tetapi lantaran dimark up untuk harga hotel, jadinya spa serta tur itu jadi tidak sering laris lantaran overpriced. Jadilah tamu biasanya sukai minta tur alternative yang harga nya masih tetap masuk akal.

Bila ditotal-total, sepanjang low season sekalipun, upah kerja di hotel terus lumayan, kok.
Saya jadi heran dengan rekan saya yang stress lantaran tidak berhasil jadi PNS. Masih tetap terdapat beberapa pekerjaan lain yang upah serta saat depannya bagus, kok. Kerja di hotel seperti saya, umpamanya. Hehehehe…
